Strength + Light Effective date: 6/16/2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Strength and Light ("we," "us," or "our") collects when you use strengthandlight.com and the memberships, community, downloads, and other content offered through it (the "Services"), and what we do with it. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.
Account and contact details — your name and email address when you opt in for a free guide, join the community, or create an account.
Payment information — when you buy a membership or program. Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor; we receive confirmation of your purchase and limited billing details, but we don't collect or store your full card number.
Things you submit — posts and messages in the community, replies to surveys or prompts, and anything else you choose to send us.
When you use the Services, some information is gathered automatically, such as your device and browser type, general location, the pages you visit, and how you interact with the site. This usually comes through cookies and similar tools (see Section 6). Our site doesn't currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
We use what we collect to:
deliver the Services, including your account, community access, and any content you've purchased;
process payments and manage memberships and renewals;
send you the emails you've signed up for, plus service messages like receipts, account notices, and updates;
respond to your questions and provide support;
understand how the Services are used so we can improve them; and
keep the community safe and enforce our terms.
If you opt in, we'll send you emails — things like the free guide you requested, updates, and occasional offers. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. Even after you unsubscribe from marketing, we may still send essential service messages, such as payment receipts or account notices, while you have an active membership.
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:
Service providers — the platforms and tools we use to run the Services, including our hosting and community platform, email system, and payment processor. They handle your information on our behalf and only for that purpose.
Legal reasons — if we're required to by law, or to protect our rights, the safety of others, or the integrity of the Services.
Business changes — if the business is ever transferred or sold, your information may pass to the new owner as part of that.
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and understand how the Services are used. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.
Some tools we rely on are run by other companies, and we sometimes link to outside websites. Those services have their own privacy practices, and this policy doesn't cover them. We'd encourage you to read their policies when you use them.
We keep your information for as long as you have an account or active membership, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, tax, and record-keeping needs. When we no longer need it, we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.
We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure. No method of storing or sending data online is completely secure, though, so we can't promise absolute protection.
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California privacy laws or the GDPR, including the right to access your information or ask us to delete it. To make a request, email us at [email protected] and we'll respond as the law requires. Asking us to delete your information means closing your account, since the two are tied together, and anything you've posted in public community areas may still be visible to others or remain in backups afterward.
The Services are made for adults — single mothers raising sons — and aren't directed to children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we'll delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date above. If the changes are significant, we'll make a reasonable effort to let you know.
If you have questions about this policy or your information, email us at [email protected].
